“The event was held at glassybaby, a charming NYC West Village store that sells gorgeous hand blown glasses in 400+ brilliant colors. With names like lifeguard, crayola, devil dog, joy, frog hunting, and taxi you are sure to fall in love with every one. Amy, the manager of the store shared the heroic story behind Leah Rhodes’, founder of glassbaby and mother of 3, who fight against cancer, which inspired her to open glassbaby. We paid it forward by donating 10% of the proceeds from glassbaby purchases at the event to Gilda’s Club NYC.
Also joining us for the evening’s festivities was Louise Phillips Forbes from Halstead Property. Louise, a working mother of two, shared her passion for entertaining and creative ideas oh how to include all family members in both formal and casual dining events.
From food trends to toy trends, we covered it all. Just in time for the holiday gift buying season, the ladies from the Toy Industry Association were on-hand to share important safety tips and trends. Joan Lawrence, vice-president of standards and government affairs at the Toy Industry Association, Inc., and mother of three, shared the top 10 tips to toy safety.”
